Yasmin Seaman left a City law firm to be able to study painting, and at the same time, she discovered the pleasure of gardening.
Yasmin found a sense of fulfilment and of "place" as she worked with plants in closer connection with the natural world. Over the last few years, this love of gardening has been borne out in the paintings she creates.
The image of a flower forms a central motif - set against a geometrical background evocative of commercial printing. Yasmin aims to explore the interplay between the 'natural' and the manufactured; the organic and mass produced forms.
