Diane Flynn
Diane Flynn was born in Huddersfield where she developed her creative
talents. She studied art at Huddersfield, Batley and Manchester School
of Art.
She has lived for many years in France, living first in Languedoc and then later in Normandy. In 1976 she married Paul Hedley who is also a very talented figurative and landscape artist. During 1976 Batsford published her book on 'Portrait Drawing Techniques'. She has also written several articles on portrait painting for 'The Artist' magazine.
Her techniques and vibrant compositions are always exciting and it was this aspect which attracted one of London's leading galleries to retain her as a resident artist during the late 80's and early 90's.
She now lives in the South of England and exhibits in various galleries in the UK.
