Simone Morris
Having graduated only last summer from Nottingham Trent University, with a First Class BA Hons in Decorative Art, Simone is already putting her degree to very good use.
Working with porcelain from her studio in Staffordshire, Simone is interested in making collections marked out by colour and tone. Using hand building techniques, she uses mould making and slip casting as the basis of her designs.
With a palette that reminds us of a moody sea, we are particular fans of her ‘little bowls’.
Stacked or lined up in a row on the shelf, Simone’s irregular patterns and splattered colours are a feast to the eye, like the breaking waves themselves.
