The Five Levels of Framing
You have a choice about how much or how little you want to safeguard your picture. There are Five Levels of Framing for you to choose from as the following summary explains:
Museum - The ultimate protection for your artwork
Conservation - Helping preserve your artwork for future generations
Commended - Guarantees a degree of protection, with design playing an important part
Budget - Visually pleasing, but offering no long-term protection
Minimum - Putting economy first

The Mulberry Tree Gallery is able to provide a conservation framing service which will include the best quality museum mount board and archival tape - this will make sure that all materials touching the artwork are non acidic.
We can use glass that offers protection from harmful ultra violet rays and glass that gives viewing that is uninterrupted by distracting reflections. Mountboards are of a conservation specification giving total peace of mind that your artwork is being looked after for future generations.
By following this way of working it will help to reduce the risk of discolouration and foxing, which in time can damage your treasured art work.
