Jewellery
We currently stock jewellery by local artists Mary Baker, Janine Drayson and Katy Kerr.
Mary designs jewellery whose pieces are inspired by her surroundings - many of which involve pieces of glass which have been smoothed by the action of the waves.
Janine's jewellery is a mixture of beadwork and shells which are proving to be very popular. We sell her necklaces, bracelets and matching earrings.
Katy's
work is a mixture of either silver clay or sea glass and silver clay.
The sea glass comes mainly from Swanage beach, with the occasional piece
donated by well travelled friends. The silver adornments are hand crafted
using silvery clay which is made from silver retrieved from previous uses,
which once fired becomes 99.9% pure silver.
