Paul Cross
My
name is Paul Cross. I am a local artist with many years experience
in exhibiting and selling paintings.
I have shown in various places across the south of England and also in Cornwall. In more recent years I have focused my attention on seascapes. This fascinating subject has developed largely as a result of my travels and time spent around the Cornish coast. Whenever the opportunity presents itself I visit the West Country. I have wondered many a time up and down the beaches mesmerised by the constant motion of waves crashing thunderously against timeless rocks.
People often comment on the special light which exists in that part of the world, and just as artists have done before me, I have tried to capture this within my work. During the last year I have evolved with changes in both media and subject.
I now focus entirely on oil based paintings and have begun to observe other coastal locations. However, the passion for Cornwall will always exist.
