Robin Mason

It is difficult not to be spellbound by Robin Mason's hazy and romantic vision of the British countryside and domestic life. His work has a classic feel to it, capturing a busy day at the seaside, a deserted port or children playing on stepping stones or simple still lifes. Working in either Oil or Pastel, the main emphasis is on light and atmosphere.

His skill is in capturing the senses, evoking the smell of the sea, the squawk of seagulls or the excitement of arriving at the beach.
